You would need a different Discover Pro unit (the thing in your glovebox) that has the DAB tuner and antenna connector in it, otherwise you'd need to go something aftermarket.

Can anyone advise if the MIB II unit in a 2016 Alltrack can have a DAB+ module installed ?
I understand there is an option for the Discovery Pro to have a DAB+ module installed, but the Pro was was not offered as an option on the 2016 Alltrack at the time of purchase.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Has an Aux passthrough so you dont loose for factory input, and looks small enough that you could mount it just about anywhere and quite neatly to, given all the cables connection are mounted on the one side

Would I need to replace the 6.5" screen with a component matched 8.0" as well ?, I suspect just replacing the glovebox unit wouldn't work as they would need to be a matched pair.Originally Posted by kamold

No the screen is dumb. If you were going to upgrade the mib however you'd be crazy not to upgrade to the 8 inch screen

Yes I agree, a bigger screen would be nice, just wondering how complex the upgrade would need to be just to get dab+ and what it would cost. Is it a simple plug and play glovebox upgrade, or do you need to run a new antenna and recode the system?

Needs a dab antenna which sits next to the a pillar on passenger side windscreen. Coding is required unless the unit is preconfigured by the seller.
