Haha cheers for the pic-post Louis! You're a champion and a Godsend for DIY!!! Can't wait to finish it up tomorrow.....ooooh methinks I'm going to blow my head off in excitement of immaculate-ism!

What do people think of the boot set-up? I'm thinking to myself keep the amps where they are because they're so much cleaner than I thought I could make them, and just stick the sub down.

Oh and tomorrow Louis we'll photowhore my car in all it's sound-pounding glory I'm in such anticipation to see it all done!

Amps are fine where they are, they shouldn't have any heat issues and seem well ventilated.

Yeah with the fronts, install the mid like you normally would, then leave the tweeter on a long bit a speaker wire and move it around the front. Use blu-tak to hold it in place, listen to a song with a nice female voice and see how the channel separation and height is. If you get it right, even though it is down low, you wont be able to tell where the tweeters is, it will just sound like you in the front row of the concert which means the height will be good.

Blu-tak. Good idea! I was just going to crank it up and hold them ahaha..

Just for now, I think Louis and I are going to mount them in the OEM dash position today. I might be wrong though, we'll update everyone tonight

WE had a good day, Bolted most things to OEM position.. came across few problems tho. After the install we realised the front right channel from the amp didn't work.
It is pumping out a very very faint sound.
Apart from that mickey just got to get a few more screws to mount one more speaker on. than it's all complete apart from getting his amp checked out, should be a bit deal.
I will let his post ups pics, picture speaks a 1000 words.

School work is non-evident I'm just a busy boy hehe....pics tonight boys!

Anyone wanna take a crack at my issue? My first channel on my 4-channel amp is screwed. The speaker is ok because I tested another, same with crossover, same with wires, same with RCA cable because i switched left and right and STILL the 1st channel terminal on the amp is buggered. The issue is that it will play music, but only play about 2% volume compared to the rest of the music.

EDIT: Sorry guys, I'm a VERY busy boy...tomorrow I'm gonna take pics I swear! It's set as reminder in my phone

Accidently ran over a median strip @ 70km/h last night...
both rims are buckled, tyres obviously blew, seems as if i could have brake or control arm problems etc etc, the car isn't even at my house I've had to leave it at the place for two nights and i gotta get it towed soon or find a way to get threaded lug nuts off.
