That message is normal when you reboot. There is no missing software.
The Dynaudio splash screen at boot is a coding option only. Everyone can turn that on if they want. Doesn't affect operation.

That fault does not affect operation in any way. You just need to put in a 'valid' workshop code. 12345 is 'valid'.

Post a screenshot of your current coding on your RNS.

    Thanks Horace,
I have been meaning to get to the forum but ran out of time over the weekend.

Thanks also for spending the time to go through all the different permutations.

    Cheers!

Can anyone with Dynaudio post their RNS long coding string?

I won't be able to look at this until tomorrow.

OK so looks like your coding is wrong.
Mainly byte 1 should be coded to 07 for Dynaudio DSP

Constant buzzing/static noise coming from speakers - Help required-dynaudio-jpg

I think it should be this string:

    0007040001000000090000

Note that this doesn't take into account other options like RVC etc

    What is RVC?

I thought BAP was only required if the navigation info was not displaying on the cluster display? (Its all displaying as it should)

    Reverse Camera.
Yes there is a setting for BAP protocol for MFD display.
Additionally the Dynaudio amp in the Passat is controlled over the CANbus. The lower spec Dynaudio in the Golf is the same as the stock amp in the R36.
