    Yes that's right!

    Worse case ... you might just see a new Maccas or servo on say a new street on the V9 map, but appear on a patch of dirt or grass as the street didn't exist or wasn't recognised on your V8 or older map. That's all!

    Has nothing to do with my POIs! They will just show or take you to those GPS co-ordinates regardless of what's there on your map.
