Chinese 7" 2 din DVD, Nav etc - any good?

Heaps of versions of the Chinese &' 2din DVD, GPS, TV, Radio, touch screen etc. stereo units on ebay and the like.

Has anyone tried one, how has it behaved.

I realise you get what you pay for, but Chinese electronics are catching up, and we pay a premium for brand names.

    Any thoughts?

    aHH. NO!
I bought one and sent it back. It was absolutely excrement! the graphics looked so cheap and the antennae was single facra, not double like the OEM. Just buy a reputable brand! You know it will work, plus you don't have to send it back AT YOUR COST to get it repaired. My $540 chinese RNS knock off cost me another $100 to ship it back for a refund. Not worth it!

I had a Zenec unit (European made RNS style system and it worked well but was more technophile than the RNS system.

I would just go the RNS510 if you can handle the lack of features.
Ebay ones can be had for about $1000
