Cheap Chinese headunits that run Windows CE

    Hey,

I've been contemplating some modifications for a 118 tig that we might be purchasing soon. For a start, I wanted to upgrade the standard headunit to a car pc of some sort.

Then I found cheap stuff like this

8"Car PC for VW PASSAT/Tiguan/B5/JETTA/GOLF/TIGUAN/EOS /SEAT /Rabbit/Skoda/ with dvd/bluetooth/radio/gps/iphone/3g function,View jetta,Audiosources Product Details from Shenzhen Audiosources Car Electronics Co., Ltd. on Alibaba.com

Now I know that they don't run the fastest processors and nor do they run very polished software. But the thing I was wondering was that since these run on a Windows CE based operating system, could I somehow install Centrafuse onto it? Centrafuse is a car pc program which is also designed for Windows CE.

    Centrafuse™ | Connected Car Applications

    Thanks guys!

EDIT: This looks very very similar to this? ANS-810 / ANS-510 (PROPER RNS-510 alternative)

Best bet it to get an RNS510 or an ANS810 from our forum providers to be honest.

Cheap Chinese ones have often been associated with problems - it's best to stick with the popular ones as above if you want support.
