I have an RCD500 in my 06 Jetta which is not loading CDs. It does all the right things in terms of sucking it right in to play it but them spits it straight again. I thought it might be a common problem but I haven't found any postings on it.

Has anyone got any good ideas about a quick fix? Or should I take it out and pull it apart, or should I take it to a dealer?

I obviously had everyone stumped as I didn't get any replies. I took the unit out, tried unplugging/plugging without success. I opened it up and there were some small plastic pieces floating around that had obviously broken off somewhere.
A couple of days previous I had maybe been a bit rough or too quick in unloading 6 CDs so maybe that was what caused it.
