CarPlay options

I currently have the RNS510 unit with reverse camera and parking sensors, is there a decent replacement (can be non OEM) that has Apple Carplay and would work with the camera/sensors as a slot in replacement?

I've seen the Pioneer unit mentioned a bit as a CarPlay alternative, however would it work with my steering controls, VW reverse camera and parking sensors?

There is no OEM solution.
If you go aftermarket like Pioneer, you will be able to get a CANBUS adapter to allow the steering wheel controls to work.
However the VW camera is an RGBS camera where most aftermarket solutions use composite. So unless they have an adapter available you would likely have to replace the camera with a generic one.
The parking sensors are able to be integrated into some Chinese aftermarket units but not sure about the reputable brands.

Thanks for the reply, it seems I'll need to check out adapters like you say but even then hopefully I get proper functionality....Has any successfully installed one of the Pioneer units in their VW and retained steering wheel controls, parking sensors/camera?
