Can't Remove MKIV Stock Head Unit

Finally installed the head unit with the fascia piece off ebay. Unfortunately for me the head unit didn't fit in the fascia piece at first as the screen was too tall by a few millimetres. So had to sand back the top and bottom edges with a dremel style tool to eventually get a neat fit. Finally looks right now. And the fascia piece adds a bit of security as you can't remove the head unit without undoing other pieces around the centre console (i.e. you can't just pull the head unit out or use a removal tool).

This is what the the stock head unit (Eurovox) pins look like (on my 2001 Golf Mk4 - Australian version). The pins are not far in and need to be pressed against the body of the head unit at the same time. cheers
