Unfortunately the Continental units don't recognise WAV files.
Only way around this, is to load them onto an ipod or iphone and hook that up to the unit via MDI.
It will play the files that way.
FWIW, WAV format FTW!![]()
Hey guys
Without getting into an argument as to why i want to use wav files specifically, is there anyway to get them onto the hdd and whether the unit in the octavia scout my12 would recognise them. I loaded a bunch on the sd card but it is geared to see mp3 files by the look of it as no wav files were visible
Thanks in advance

MY11 Tiguan 147TSI (SOLD)
as aussietig said - nope.
another option to the one above, is to burn the "wav" files into an audio cd.
put the cd in the car
rip/copy the music to hdd from the cd (presuming u have the columbus)
takes ages to copy from cd to hdd though![]()
