Im interested in this. Trying to crack out the codes i need. So far ive got throttle pedal input, gear selection and now searching for rpm and gear selected. This is on a 2012 passat. Codes are different to yours. Trying to figure out what is what is really hard!!

RPM you can pull from 0x35B bytes 2 and 3, formatted as follows:

long rpm = (byte3*256+byte2)/4;

You mentioned you have gear selection so I'm not sure what the other item is you're looking for?
