Calling All MK4 Owners and VW Car Audio Gurus !!

    Hey Guys

Hoping one or more of you have come across this and found a solution to my dilemma.

Trying to install a double din headunit into the R32. However to my dismay, any aftermarket solution is a lot smaller in physical size in comparison to the factory double din hole. There is about a 1cm gap on all sides.

As my headunit did not come with any sort of metal bracket/cage, i assume only that i require some sort of Facia kit/adaptor gizmo which will allow me to secure/screw the headunit in place.

If anyone has crossed this bridge or managed to source one of these adaptors or something which allowed them to install it, please let me know as i have only had luck sourcing the kit overseas and are wanting over $100 which i thought was a little excessive.

    Cheers guys
    Naz

Did you have any luck with getting a bracket for your purpose? I was about to post a thread on the same topic. I have a MKIV Golf GL Rally that I was going to try and install a dual din headunit in, but was unsure if the little storage hole below the cup holder was able to be removed or if there were any issues with mounting.

I am thinking of buying the Pioneer AVIC-F310BT
