    Hi Guys does the standard Bluetooth on the car has the voice command function?

    Yes, unless things changed since I bought my 2011 125TDI.

    Mine has standard Bluetooth and I can give voice commands to call people by name.

    I think things have changed... AskAVWSalesGuy states on one of his vids how the voice command was discontinued in the premium 8 sound system (rcd510) in the US due to mis-reads (leading to customer suing perhaps??) , seems like this is the same here... mine just acts like a mute, I am hoping it is just a VCDS recode ...

    Dopey, do you get the dong when you use the mike key on the wheel? and is it the RCD510??? if it is, do you get the dongs?

    Mine is optioned with the factory rns510, yes it does play a jingle when I press the mic button.
