Blau philladelphia 845 in Mark v - SWC issue

Hi everyone,

I have just replaced the rns mfd2 with a philladelphia 845 and for the most part it is excellent. Easy install and sounds better than stock.

However the steering wheel controls have got me stumped. It is supposed to be plug and play and from everything I have read the steering wheel controls should work no problem but they don't. The other thing that has me stumped is there is a 3.5mm female jack on the HU for SWC but no cable from the car that looks like it is for the steering wheel controls. In fact there is no cable other than the large plug to the HU.

Can anyone help?

Update - so I got in the car today and suddenly some of the steering wheel controls are working. Not all of them but the volume up and down, and mute are working. The phone buttons are not working. What the hell is going on?
