R32 and MP3

Does the 08 R32 stereo play MP3 CDs? Also is there any form of aux in or something where an MP3 player can be plugged in?

Yes...it plays MP3 CDs...can have 6 of them loaded into the stacker if you like.

And I believe the connection in the centre console (under the armrest) is for an MP3 player.

If thats the case that would be very awesome. I was just about to buy a $400 Ipod adapter for the Golf so if someone could confirm that, I will be a happy man! I don't get the R32 till next week. Do you know if it's a 3.5mm jack and you just use a 3.5 - 3.5mm cable?

nah...sorry Zed!.....stacking 6 CD's with MP3s loaded onto them is the extremity of my AV experience.

Which is my next quesiton! Did you have any problems burning MP3 Cds? I know some car stereos can be fussy about the type of CD you use and some of the settings you use when burning the CD.
