Best place in Melbourne to get my bluetooth and MDI installed

I have purchased a bluetooth and a mdi from ebay.

Just need somewhere local to install the two of them.

I know a mate had a bluetooth system installed for 100 bucks, is that good or bad?

Also happy to pay someone to do it for me if your confident.. just think its a tad out of my legue.

Coding doesn't bother me, can always have one of the boys do that for me, its really just the physical install.

Basically price, and venue would be alot of help. Thanks!

Tried asking a VW dealer? Berwick VW seemed happy to do it for a fee (probably more than $100 though) as long as the parts are OEM. I ended up doing it myself though. Most people wouldn't want the responsibility of doing it in case something went amiss (trim got slightly damaged or something). Try to get the trim around the radio off is a pain.

Uhh I just fudged it, I already knew where I had to connect it since I'd previously installed the RNS510 and Bluetooth.

I'm surprised no one wants to do it. It's pretty simple.
The hardest thing is routing the mic up the A pillar

There have been cases where people have bought the cheap Chinese knock-offs and had issues getting them to work, which is why most places won't install it unless you purchase the parts through them (but that costs you more).

Read up on a bunch of installation guides, it may inspire you to have a go yourself - then you just need someone with the VCDS cable. Once you've got the trim off and radio out it's mostly plug'n'play, then route the cables where they need to go.
