I moved your thread in the Audio section, someone in here could know how. Let us know when you connect it and it works. Certainly more detailed instruction with the pictures could be useful to some.
Good luck!
Hi Guys,
Having a major problem.
Trying to connect a multimedia interface from ebay to my RNS510, so i can connect a reverse camera (Aftermarket)
I have connected the major parts, but i have no idea where to connect a few extra cables.
This is what i have left:
PURPLE- extra plug - this is indicated on the +12V cable will automatically switch on the
he navigation, This makes possible to use the camera during the motion.
GREY- extra plug - when turn on of the navigation, on cable there is voltage 12V, max 250mA
(only when connected to the CAN bus).
Don't know where i actually have to connect them to???
Also have a black cable that look's like a headphone jack?? Maybe don't need to connect it?
Camera has been connected to 12v in the boot.
Please help, doing my head in!!!!

Having problems with purple and grey cable, where should i connect them to??
As the picture says purple to reversing light positive. How many wires you have in rev. camera?

Camera has negative and positive which is connected to the original light fitting,
also has yellow cable (camera connection) and a red jack.
Also comes with a black cable that connects into the red jack and splits into red and black (do these get connected to the
12v jack?)
Plus, a cable with yellow jack on both side, with a little red wire sticking out. I was told that the red wires sticking out are the camera switching control, but not sure.
