I have updated the online Shreadsheet of FIS+ info:

Added Car Specific Installation information to help users know where the CANBUS is located, and how it can be accessed, and where to store the FIS+ box. I added the following rows: Vehicle (RHD/LHD), CANBUS module Location, FIS+/CANBUS Cable Installation acces via, Auto-Polar FIS+ box located

Yes mostly. Though because the video is in Spanish it's a little hard to follow.

Instead of right mirror you select the left one (as that's the one you need to see the curb on anyway) and set the "normal" and "dipped" positions. I did play around with the settings from OFF/Manual/Automatic and settled on Auto (not sure if this is to do with DSG/manual transmission or what??) but after a bit I got the mirror to dip when selecting revese gear.

I'm not sure if you need to or not but the mirror selector switch is on the left mirror - haven't tried setting it in other positions when selecting reverse to see if it still works in other setting positions.

Will have to disable it and then work out the "procedure" to enable it again - maybe even make a video with the menus in English

I'll admit I left my mirror switch on R as well, hoping both would dip (since that's what I usually do myself)

Yep just left the mirror switch in the left position the whole time and it works - probably better to try this one without the wife in the car first time!

Apparently it's meant to work on all VAG cars according to the AutoPolar support guys who has an Octavia RS.

It may dip both but I think left side is most important so you don't skim your wheels on the curb (not that any of us would ever do that).

Since I reverse downhill on a steep & curved driveway I like having both dipped, that's the main reason.

the only thing that will 'annoy' me about that is the fact that in winter I leave the switch in the heater position. ill have to remember to switch it when im reverse parking. cant have everything though I guess!
