    Good news.

Suspect you may have initially had red MFD firmware trying to talk to a white MFD - probably too excited to get the unit in the car...

Decisions, decisions how to configure the 6 displays. Like a little kid in a lolly shop.

Will have to ask the Autopolar guys about making some of the information that is in the "standard" MFD screens available for the FIS+ screens so that you can configure your own displays how you want them.

Great progress! Keen for screen shots of each menu...

    Getting exciting!

    Spoke too soon.

The testing above was with the car parked. The minute I drove it the display disappeared from the MFD and I lost the RNS-related menus again.

I checked all the connections and all were tight, so there might be a faulty cable or internal connector somewhere that has an intermittent connection.

I've pulled it out completely now - will check on the autopolar forums to see what's the best next step.

you may need to do the online updater.

i just did an update to 0.3.0W (for white/colour display) and its working perfectly. there are no 0.3.0XX anymore as 0.3.0 is now a full version.

and i think it has 5 screens of info, and yes 4 lines on each.

for those of you who have requests, they are very open to suggestions and generally happy to make changes. however, they prioritise fixes and corrections to previous functions.

they seem to have a very active developer team.

Just had a look for it via my sunglasses cubby hole. Good news is I can see the unit where it's supposed to be. Bad news I could barely fit a pair of tongs through that gap, let alone an arm or two. Not sure what the point of removing the fuse cover was either since that gave no extra light or access. Ominous clouds overhead so will have to postpone until tomorrow.
