    I *think* you can *just* see the plug from down there so it might be possible for someone with very thin arms to give it a bash... that said, the whole wiper thing doesn't take all that long.

    The MK6 has definitelly less space there than MK5, but to get to the CANBUS is the same.
    It takes less than 10 minutes in the MK5... Rcd/rns 510 q & a but connecting the autopolar through that small place and positioning it there somewhere safe, going from the top maybe a better option.

    The connector is quite hard to lift the tab and disconnect with one hand only, be ready for that.

    Does that FIS+ have the ability to display current fuel consumption?

    Had a look at the website does not seem to have it - would make the perfect stats screen

    Will have to ask the guys to add it in their next firmware release. I'm sure the data is there as it's already on the MFD - just not an otion to display in the FIS+ menus.

    I'm thinking of going for (1) Real Speed, (2) Boost pressure (psi), (3) Gearbox torque (nm), (4) Coolant temp but I haven't had the chance to look through it all yet so don't quote me on that. I already know that going light on the gas pedal reduces fuel consumption so seeing a number isn't going to make too much of a difference. I would like to know when/how often high amounts of torque are used so that I can reduce those situations.
