    Audio and Electronics Gallery

New sticky for people to post pics of their audio systems, upgrades, bluetooth setups, etc.

Note I will try and keep this thread clear of other crap just so it's easier to see the pics!

    Let's see your pics guys!

No ones posted in this thread? Guess I should.

Pioneer AVIC-F900BT Head unit, with GPS, DVD, TV, Ipod, SD card, USB and more.

Ipod control is from the unit itself

Schneider amp, 800W 4 Channel Bridgeable

Cant really see it too well, but these are Hertz Splits, Mid driver and tweeter, no 4" though, couldn't afford 3 ways

Twin 12" Alpine Tyre R Subs, 500W RMS each (but they are only running about 200W cause I dont have a monoblock)

Rear doors running off the head unit and faded right out.

Headunit is cool! Looks like pioneer are more Ipod minded now, with the album art etc, got any pics of you going through the ipod menu (scanning through lists of songs etc)

2x Type Rs? OMG, i had ONE running off a 1200 watt alpine mono block and it was so powerful it shock the cars around me easy. Your going to have some fun with those!

What wiring harness and fascia plate did you use for the instalation, I just ordered the connects2 CTSVW002 with the ctpioneeerlead to install the same head unit in a Tiguan, can't see it been much different to install than a golf.

This could be a cool thread if people actually posted up.

    My budget install so far:
Pioneer DEH-4250SD head unit, nothing fancy but does all I really want (only photo I have of it haha, during the finishing stages of removing the previous horrible attempt at wiring the previous owner had done)

4 guage power wiring and home-made completely sealed and reinforced box built to recommended specifications, sounds great but looks horrible thanks to a less then desirable finish from cheap spray paint haha. might have to carpet it.

MB Quart DSC480 - 4x160W RMS amp, running front speakers and bridged to 320W RMS for the sub

    JL 10W0v2 4 ohm 300W RMS sub

next up is some decent splits for the front, although the stock VW speakers take almost 80W RMS much better then I was expecting
