    Hi there,

I have just bought a VW GOLF GTi DSG 2006.. lovely car!!
It has factory Sat Nav RNS-MFD2 with 6 CD Changer, and I am hoping to buy the RNS-510 with the MDI (Ipod) connection, RVC and hopefully still able to use the 6CD changer too...

I was wondering if I would be able to borrow the Vag-Com as well once I purchase the the 3 items above to make sure all the coding is correct? Also may be some help? In response, I can shout a case of beer for your help?

Please PM me if you have a VAG-COM i can borrow in Perth..

    kind Regards

    Rob

Looks like the only person is 'Back door Shenanigans'.. I have PM'd him, however I was wondering if there were any others in Perth (in case as backups)?

Looking for the VAG-COms that can allow for code changing...

I have back Door shenanigans cable at the moment but it doesn't work with my mk6.

It is the k11-USB whereas the mk6 needs the can ones.

If you find the k11-USB will work on yours I'm sure back door will be happy to let you borrow it (I hope! Lol)

Do you know how to find out if the K11-USB will work on a 2006 GTI? is it in the manual or do I have to open something?
Note: I am pretty lazy therefore instead of trying to find out myself I might as well just ask and see if someone already knows! hehehe

    Hey,

U still got BDS cable? also, I was planning on doing the same upgrades as you have done. Was it a hard job? and did it take a long time?

Do you know if the MK5 works with the K11-USB cable?

    Regards

    Rob
