Anyone have the new 8" Din installed and running?

I was browsing through VW forums and came across this.

OEM Headunit for VW GOLF CADDY JETTA PASSAT EOS Life +DVD GPS + 8" Digital Touchscreen Bluetooth RDS iPOD Windows CE 6.0

Any one have any experience with this...?
I personally think it does look better than the older ones
and the interface seems to be a bit better..

I wouldn't install this if you have a new car.
Much nicer interface than before but it is just the graphic side of things. Main software is still windows,probably unchanged and made for all different makes of car with just the face place altered for different makes.
Jack of all trades and master of none basically.Still likely to have compatibility issues. If it was me i would pay the extra $400-$500 for a RNS.Built in bluetooth likely to be substandard still as nothing will stop distortion from a imbedded mic.Really needs a seperate Microphone to be of any use.Better factor in cost of a blueant or something when comparing to OEM.
Laughable that it is advertised as OEM headunit as well.
Wether it is value for money is your call but I can't help thinking this is still FALSE ECONOMY and leave you with regret.
