Any way to get the code for 2008 caddy head unit?

hey, i was wondering if there is another way to get the code for my vw caddy without having to go to a vw dealer to get my pin code?

i rang up vw today and they did not have my pin recorded on their commercial system.

any ideas?

Dealer job only. Need to get serial number off unit and then go online to get your code.

Do you know which dealer originally sold the van? I called the one that sold my van originally, they just looked the VIN up in their database and gave me the code over the phone.

Doesn't help if the radio has been changed.

As per Darkside, take your car to the dealership and they'll get the serial number, and send an enquiry through on their online database to get the code for you.

Otherwise, pull the radio out and write down the serial number. It's stamped in the casing and starts with VWZ.
