I contact audiosources to have the latest version of my ANS510, I done it but i have the same problem. media sdcard, CD/DVD and USB port doesn't work. In the update that i had from audiosources there is no ANS510AS.XF14 just the BSP, MPU and MCU.
    Did you found a solution,
Dkn can you help me please

    My actual version:
    BSP: ANS510AS.612
    MPU: ANS510AS.M99
    MPGE :
    Servo :
    MCU : ANS510AS.131012.m1.T0
    BT : 20120512
    MST701: 7.0.098
    Region code 9

    Sorry for my bad english
MPEG will only show the version after first playing some media.

When SD, DVD and USB fail together it is the decoder hardware that has failed. This could well occur because of flashing the wrong firmware, but could also just be a faulty part - unfortunately the only solution is to send the unit back for repairs, or get a new DVD drive (the decoder chip resides on the DVD drive's board) and replace it yourself if you're handy with this kind of thing. You can order spare parts from Audiosources, but the shipping will be expensive.

This happens after updating MCU - just go to setup -> system -> driver door and choose "right".

I assume you mean the DNS series unit, please refer to the group buy thread. This thread is for the older ANS units. I will start a specific thread here about the DNS unit too, after its actual release, so people can post questions and feedback.

    Thanks.

While I'm here. When I got to the shopping centre on Saturday morning, I noticed a Chinese dialog popped (top left of the display) up over the navigation screen when I stopped the car and took the ignition key out. Unfortunately, putting it back in and turning it on did not reproduce the dialog.

It would be a WinCE error message - not sure what it could be, maybe out of memory when the GPS is running with 3D buildings on and other things running in the background? You're probably unlikely to see it again, but if you do just take a picture and send it to me and I'd be able to tell you.

Unfortunately, I have the exact opposite where this upgrade does not always (rarely?) shows the OPS display if you have the navigation screen turned on.

The only way I have found to overcome this is to not have the navigation to start automatically, or if you have the navigation on, to press the NAVI button to turn it off. Even here, you may have to press it twice, as the first time it will display something like "Navigation starting...". Press it once more and you will be back at the radio screen and now the OPS display will show.

Sandy, any idea if this will be fixed?

    Thanks.

I will have a better idea after they release the new unit since they've put all their focus on that right now. I suspect it has something to do with the satnav program being designed to always sit on top unless minimised.

You need the file in this post here:

    ANS-810 / ANS-510 (PROPER RNS-510 alternative)

Just a note this is to stop the OPS screen from showing if you don't have RVC or OPS installed.

If it's under warranty you could ship the unit back to them to fix, but you'd have to handle the shipping. Otherwise, it's about $40 for the replacement part I believe. It's a straightforward enough job that your best solution would be to just order the part from Audiosources, ~$40 + ~$35 to ship via DHL, much faster and probably end up costing less than shipping your entire unit there and back. All you do is undo some screws, open up the unit, unscrew and unplug your DVD drive and install the new one.
