Thank you
Yes you may be the unlucky few to have the BT noise issue. If a full soft reset + firmware flash does not help then it is the hardware itself. You will have to contact Audiosources, if you bought it from them, if you really want the issue fixed.

The only bug I've noticed in the version I'm running is when I start the car and engage reverse before the unit has finished booting up the screen flashes black and goes into like a reverse camera mode (I don't have a camera), it only happens for about 5 seconds though then returns to normal.

There hasn't been any significant feature upgrades from what I could tell in the last two firmware updates. That was part of the reason why I was in no hurry to distribute them, but a few people were asking about the new firmware in this thread, so I thought I'd just throw it out there and let people play with it themselves if they want to.
That black screen does happen when you put the car in reverse before the "Welcome to Volkswagen" loading screen shows up, and you do not have an RVC installed. Doesn't really cause any real problems as it disappears later either by itself after a few seconds or when you put the car out of reverse, and it will not do it again for the rest of the session that the unit stays on.

I'll be interested in opinions on whether to upgrade. I believe from memory I have version M93...but I haven't checked the screen in a while and could be mistaken.
Update: It is version M93
Paul.
If I remember correctly you mentioned that your reverse light wire is actually getting no signal? So unless I'm mixing you up with someone else, you need to fix that issue first, as the relay will not detect anything and not power the camera as long as that's true. The fact that you experience this little glitch which occurs to people without RVCs shows your RVC is not being detected. Firmware updates cannot fix anything if power is not physically being fed to the camera...
