Try a soft reset in the setup menu, and if that doesn't work, flash the MPU again. It's not the firmware itself because others have updated without any SD or USB issue.

As for the radio, I suspect they have not even noticed these glitches since most people just set and forget with the radio stations. I will pass on your feedback, though they may put this issue on a lower priority.

I have just tried what you suggest e.g.
- make a soft reset
- download the firmware and updated the MPU as you suggest - without luck
