Sorry if this has been asked before, does the unit play lossless or wav files direct from SD card?
Volvo S60 RD T6
Just been playing around with the phonebook, unfortunately still does not appear to update, I hit the button, don't see any progress or message but do see a swipe to the left. The phonebook contents is not changed. Strange thing is that I did see the progress meter and message when going into the phonebook on the very first time I set the unit up. Any suggestions greatly appreciated
I'm fairly certain it does change if it swipes left.
It seems my previous theory that the phonebook is organised by date added is not correct. I added a contact specifically to test this, and he ended up somewhere in the middle of the list. But none of this will matter soon since the phonebook order fix is coming
Also I am running newer firmware than you are. Perhaps a glitch was fixed in the one I'm running, I'm uncertain, but again it should all be fixed with the coming firmware which I will send out once I receive and test it.

Yes, I've never quite figured out the current ordering but understand it will be fixed in the next firmware release. Like you I have added, amended and deleted contacts as a way of testing the phonebook download refresh, no changes take place. All very strange, perhaps it's the newer firmare as you mentioned but I'll skip that one and wait for the full bluetooth fix version, more than happy to wait, just trying to iron out the last few bugs really
Cheers
The unit looks very impressive and the features are great. I've noticed that you have sold a couple to the UK. I'm in the US, but very interested. Are you willing to ship to Texas? I understand that you include the AU map files. If I source my own map files for North America/ or just get a US version of iGo is there any reason why the navigation wouldn't work?
Thanks - James
Actually I have not sold outside of Australia, I have just been helping a UK buyer of the unit since his supplier was unresponsive.
I can certainly consider selling internationally if you want to buy from me but obviously I can't provide the maps and you'd have to pay for the extra shipping. I never originally intended to do this because you can buy direct from Audiosources so the selling point for me is local support and prices cheaper than RRP but these advantages may not apply to you if you're in the US. Of course I do provide software support and updates that you won't get from a usual sales representative
I've been thinking lately due to some international demand, if you really are willing to go through the extra hassle you can buy from me but alternatively, if you did not purchase the unit from me but would like software support (excluding maps), I will provide it for $25 AUD. For that I will add you to my customer contacts list and you will receive unlimited lifetime firmware updates and support associated with it, as per my customers. That may be another option.
I'll see what I can do.

Hi all,
My biggest concern with buying chinese units is the 'feel' of the product. Can anyone that has one comment on this? Does the buttons feel cheap, when pressing buttons is there a smooth click or a harsh plastic click, does the materials compare to an rns 510. You may have already answered this by the refinement comment, but i wanted to clarify if that was referring to software or hardware.
From the photos it looks great and i'm considering acquiring one but only if the unit does feel 'cheap' software refinements i'm ot fussed as most of the time it'll be playing stuff.
Thanks!
The quality is great, can't comment on comparison with the RNS but the buttons are solid, dials are smooth. You could try messaging member "shakespeare" he is in Perth and has a unit.
