Hi guys,
I'm sure but this may been answered before. My current MDI (USB) connection is in the centre console. With the ANS 810 will I need to reloacte these in the glove box?
This thread is a good starting point to find willing forum members to help out:

Otherwise any professional audio installer can help you out, although VW specialists are preferred. Once you explain to them it's plug and play, even your dealer could help you out, but they are likely to charge a lot more. The only thing that you have to think about is the iPod / USB cable which needs to be wired from the back of the unit to a location you like, for example glove box. Installers should be able to do this no problem because they would have to similarly wire through to the glove box for VW factory MDI systems.
For a minute I thought you wanted to mess around with the core software on the actual head unit, lol.

Has anyone tried a Lightning adapter with an iPhone 5 with this headunit? I might be getting a new phone sometime soon.
have not tried.. but may need to soon. had my iphone for a couple weeks now and refuse to buy the adapter yet
Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with playing back music from a phone over bluetooth into the ANS810?
I seem to get some fairly obvious HF distortion when playing back from my iPhone4.
I've tried lowering the volume on the phone itself and it seems to make no difference, so it's not a usual input gain issue.
I've tired it on 2 different ANS units and it seems to be the same.
I don't have another phone to try at the moment but would be interested to know if anyone has the same issue.
I notice that you can track skip using the on screen buttons, but not the steering wheel controls.
I also notice that there is no feedback on screen, which I know is possible from other systems I've used.
If there was playback info on screen and on the MFD then using the phone itself to navigate/browse would be an easy compromise.
Tiguan MY12 118TSI, white, no frills..... Had ANS810 ... Note the HAD ..... Now got RCD510 supplemented by 7" Android TomTom mounted on a HoldMyPhone .... Upgraded speakers Vibe BlackAir front splits and MBQuartz 12" ported sub driven from Infinity Reference 5350a amp .... oh and added fun
I've tried a few phones including an old Nokia, a Samsung Galaxy S2 and a Galaxy S3 and they all seemed fine. It could be iPhone related, unfortunately quality of BT can sometimes be heavily reliant on drivers supplied by the manufacturers and the extent to which they stick to standards...
Regarding information on screen, this is available only with AVRCP 1.3+. Both the unit and the phone must support it for this to work. The ANS series unit only has A2DP at the moment so it will not be able to read song info through BT. I've been in touch with them about this and found them a new supplier that supports Bluetooth 3.0 and AVRCP 1.4, but obviously this is not something that can be mitigated by software.

Hi,
Anyone could recommend any installer that I can go, to install the RVC. I tried pulled out the trims, and found that I need to remove the bumper etc. I have all the wires and relay soldered. Just need to install the number plate camera and hook up the relay to the rear wiper.
Thanks
Could anyone tell me if in future firmware track fast fowarding will be available beacouse now is very slow, and why my mfd screen on cluster only display fm station not the RDS name or mp3 track are only minutes and seconds ?
