Currently have rcd 310 and Garmin 1450.
Thanks in advance.
The two missing buttons are DIMM and MEDIA, DIMM is still there but is next to the CD slot, just adjusts the brightness level of the unit, and I'm not entirely sure if MEDIA switches to SD/USB or TV, but obviously this is still accessible through the on screen menu. It's not a big deal because the unit remembers the source you were on when turned off, and when you insert new media, be it CD / DVD / USB / SD, it will automatically switch to that source.
I'm pretty sure the unit reads JPEGs, I will test myself later.
radio reception in rural areas may be poor but I can't be certain. DAB+ is being worked on but I don't think that's been rolled out in rural areas yet either..
Route calculation is fast and accurate. As I said the Primo 2 software is excellent - it's not that well known around here from all the TomTom Garmin Navman etc, but to those who know a bit more about satnav systems it's widely regarded as one of the best.
