ANS-810 / ANS-510 (PROPER RNS-510 alternative)

I've just invested in a 64GB USB 3.0 memory stick, for mp3 files, to use with this unit.

Formatted the stick, copied my files over, but after connection to my ANS, i find that it is really slow to read my files from the memory stick. It seems to read the first files (in their respective folders) well enough, but anything later alphabetically listed takes ages, or doesn't play at all.

Any hints?

Yes ..use a Max 4gb formatted to fat 32.

After doing a reset to defaults on my ANS-610 a few weeks ago, I have some trip information that how appears at the bottom of the screen and you can see in the attached image. It gives you the trip length, trip time, average seed, maximum speed and driving time.

Good information, but how do you reset it?

This was taken after something like a 12 km round trip, and at no time did I do 113 km/h. This seems to be some sort of cumulative data, and would like to know how to reset it?

I've gone through the menus, (particularly those relating to trip, but cannot find anywhere to reset this information. I don't want it off, just to be able to reset it.

Any pointers?

I've downloaded it so do I simply copy the files and structure onto a micro-SD card and put it in the ANS-610? Also, as far as mapping goes, does this mean I can simply use the standard map upgrade procedure?

Yes just copy to the sd card. Make Primo folder the top level. Latest maps etc on the same site I linked to on prev page.

Is there any way to disable the backup camera? I have this radio installed on my dads car, no backup camera installed, ops and reverse turned off in the menus but still the camera turns on

Can anyone provide clear instructions on how to upgrade the maps on my ANS-610? Its driving me crazy with the reminders to upgrade!
