There is a hidden canbus selection menu, fogotten where, if you get to it you could try a diff setting?
OK Thank you, maybe Sandy knows how to access that menu. I have try changing the gateway with newer with no luck.
I have the ANS 610

The hidden menu is accessed by long pressing the middle of the far left of the screen in Aux-In mode. However as I mentioned, while there is a CAN-Bus selection option, it does not appear to actually do anything. From what I understand the current ANS series have CAN-Bus decoder modules that cannot be upgraded via firmware, which unfortunately makes your steering wheel button issues unlikely to be resolved by an update.
I would imagine that it's your steering controller that is sending different signals which are not interpreted by the ANS unit.
the new generation units would have a CAN-Bus decoder that can be soft-upgraded.
any more news on those new units ;)
I tried 1K0 953 549 BK steering controller type 2 with no luck
The only way to make it work (next-previous buttons) is when I set the MFD to AUDIO and through the wiper stalk arrows up and down.
I didn't see any can-bus settings in my secret menu.
The only reason that I'm still searching for a solution to that is because my previous RCD 300 MP3 was working fine with these type of buttons.
