Yes Mirrorlink is one specific company with registered trade mark and patent etc but these days the term "mirroring" or "mirror linking" is increasingly being used for such functions, hence the confusion. Anyway the new unit does true mirroring of the device unlike Mirrorlink which unlocks specific apps only when connected.

The new unit is progressing and I am hopeful for a release within a month. Their software developers are working around the clock to get everything finalised.

Applied the firmware update and all went well.

There is still an issue with the OPS not showing.

From very limited testing, if you have the Navi auto set to on, then the OPS does not display. If you have the Navi auto set to off, but press the Navi button to display the Navi screen, then a few seconds after selecting reverse, the map display is replaced by the OPS display.

Ok I apologize in advance as I know this information is in this thread but there are so many suggestions/info it's overwhelming and I can't find what I need.

Can anyone help me out with some links or part numbers to the radio adapters for the ANS-810? I've had this unit for over a year and never cared much about listening to the radio (and never have). Recently I've been wondering what I'm missing out on and want to get some decent reception.

I'm in the US, have a 2012 MK6 GTI with the dual antenna. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

You'll want this one. I know it's not cheap; but don't make the same mistake I did. I just ordered one for 14 dollars and change, plus 13 dollars in shipping only to receive it and find out the AM side of the connector is empty. It's not wired to the antenna at all. I never listen to AM; but I still don't like the idea of having something that is not fully functional.

Hi,

I been using my unit ANS 610 for 6 months and I'm having great time with it.
Some times I can't change the FM station and rarely I get stuck in the OPS screen.
Is someone else having the FM issues?
Also I never done an update of the system firmware

Post a screen shot of what model/revision you have
(aux in, press and hold lower middle of screen for ~ 8 seconds.)

Most stable version I have is a mixture
MPU: M93_1205
MCU: ans510.13110.m1.Da (130406 m1.D1for rev sensors only, no cam when used on my unit)
All buttons work when in GPS screen, rev cam 90% of the time after gps fired up.
