The S4 may struggle with AA, but it should at least be recognizing the phone. Even my S3 was recognized, albeit unusable.
Ive only just updated my Samsung galaxy s4 to 5.0.1 and was very much looking forward to to trying out Android Auto. Unfortunately when I connected my phone to the car my Head unit is showing that I have no device. If anyone here has experienced this and can offer some advice id appreciate it!

Ive tried 3 different cables , 2 Samsung ones and nothing. Its bloody frustrating! Ive got several ongoing issues with the MIB II unit, this is just the icing on the cake!

I have an S5 samsung and it refuses to work properly(tried in many cars and using genuine cable). Ive tried other S5 and work ok. When its connecting to car after accepting the prompts 'google services has stopped working' and returns to home screen.
I have finally managed to connect my phone to Android Auto. I went into the settings menu of App connect and noticed the unit was set to connect to Mirrorlink as default rather than Android Auto. Changed it to Android Auto and connected straight away!
