Amp install under front passenger seat? Mk3 golf

I'm installing my syste in my mk3 in a few days and I'm always putting rear sears all the way down to fit in a lot of band equipment, so I want to avoid having my amp in the back taking up space or getting damaged. Just want to know who's done this, if it's worked out ok. I'd be screwing it onto a board of mdf which would be Velcroed onto the floor.

Just fabricate a piece of mdf to raise the floor say 25 mm, then have the amp offset into the spare wheel. Under the chairs is ok, until someone kicks it haha, although running the cables would be easy under seat.

under the passenger seat is not an ideal spot for the amp; there is a ventilation outlet there, it's not flat and it will get kicked.

Its not so much about air flow, and they are generally designed that they well be mounted flush on timber, or inset into a box, its more under the front seats there are heater outlets...

My last car was running 2 x 600 RMS JL subs, and 4 * 90 RMS speakers with amps mounted on carpeted mdf, and these amps got somewhat warm, never once did it get the the stage where they did a safety cut off.

It's more the fact that you want it somewhere safe, out the way, where they dont get kicked, or cable gets accidentally pulled out.

No worries, best way to learn, is on a mates car who is doing an upgrade, that way, mistakes can be learnt not on your car haha. Once you've done one install, its all essentially the same, just running cables is different in different cars

(and get yourself a trim removal kit, for $30 roughly, you save scratching your interior and it always pissing you off every time you look at it haha)
