Hi, would like to upgrade my oldie rcd310 head unit to something with bluetooth integration and perhaps gps built in. Been looking at rcd and rns510 but it is too expensive for rns510 and rcd is not much of an upgrade since i still have to purchase the bluetooth kit. Any suggestion on aftermarket head unit? Dont mind to lose the mfd function as long as i can keep the wheel buttons. Thanks guys

You have an iPhone, so have a look at the range of CarPlay units. Friend of mine has just installed a Pioneer unit in his Toyota Landcruiser and the bluetooth phone calls were really clear and he says the music is good, but not Bluetooth on the CarPlay side. He doesn't have steering wheel buttons, but I know some of the better units allow that level of integration.

RNS315 can be had with Aussie maps for $600 off Ebay. This unit includes BT and satnav in 1 unit, is VW OEM and will integrate into your Tiguan. For the price its best option in my view.
