Additional TMC provider for MIB2 Discover Pro Units (HereTraffic)

No luck so far but I have only tested a few mins I know it can take some time for TMC to start working.

Usually it’s pretty quick to populate, but I see your Q signal quality is below 50, I think the default setting (in GEM) tells it to ignore RDS TMC when Q is below 55, so maybe that is the reason, but I feel like there is probably more work to do..

I think there is a threshold setting in GEM, I'll have a look in the morning.

Quality seems ok but tmc1 is not going active.
Tmc2 status will go active and show 480 messages etc but then goes back to 0 again.
There isn't a specific TMC debug logging option I'll just try the default and see if there might be any hints in there.

Haven't had a chance to look at this log as yet but I think there are TMC debug outputs in there.
Will have a look later today.

This one seems pretty obvious...

I have been digging around some other region map files; it looks like the ones with working TMC data have an extra file
TI.NDS

The NDS files (Navigation Data Standard) are standard database files containing SQLite tables but have a funky format with encryption.

I will try to dump this file and see what I get.

Was there ever a MIB STD2 map for AUS with working TMC?, I tried version V12 with no luck.

I managed to find an old portable hard drive with Discover MIB2 STD maps from V3 to V15.
The last map with the TI.NDS file was V7 (May 2017) 0821 MP163-1245xROW2. That would make sense as about the end of 2017 we lost the ability to use TMC with the latest map update. Reverting back to the old (V7) map restored TMC.
This was not a problem with MIB2 high (Discover Pro) as TMC was possible (using SUNA) and I believe still is. I no longer have access to MIB2 units now.
