Hi guys,
I currently have RNS 510 (HW 04 and FW 4120) and 9w2 bluetooth module. At the moment I'm able to stream audio via bluetooth, but I can't skip tracks or see track information... I thought this is really annoying so I researched a bit and I've read that 9w7 module will fix that problem, so I ordered one, I still haven't received it yet.
I'm worried that I didn't get the right part to fix the problem, what I got is 7P6035730J...
I'm reading on here the J version wouldn't show the track information or allow me to skip tracks.
Products comparison
Is that correct? did I make a mistake?
Thanks.

You should be fine. Mines the same model, connected to an RNS510, and I have all that functionality.

Thanks guys, I should have checked that thread before posting a new one, somehow I completely missed it... I'm glad the one I bought will do the job just fine.
Thanks again for your time...
Cheers,

I am in the same boat
I have the 9w7 BT module (7p6 035 730k)
Apparently not all RCD 510 support track skipping etc. you need the 190A or B version
I have just installed mine (version J), it works great, skips tracks and shows track details, also telephony is massive improvement compared to my old. I have tested it with Windows Phone and Android, works with both... I'm no expert with RCD 510, but you might be able to upgrade the firmware or something. My RNS510 is running latest firmware.
