I know that there are people out there that wonder about these things and not all upgrades/firmware/phone combo's have worked in the past...

But in short. iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8 synced up and appears to be working as expected for both calls and streaming music.

My wife's iPhone 5S got the iOS 8 upgrade and I haven't had any complaints yet using the Parrot Bluetooth in her car, so it looks like it hasn't broken anything this time around

I'm having problems with my iPhone 6 + RCD510 in my MY12.5 Polo GTI...

Can play music and make voice calls just fine, though song info doesn't display on the head unit + controls don't work (play/pause/skip) on both the head unit and the steering wheel controls.

Currently having issues with mine. Not too sure if it's the phone or the bluetooth though.
Recently upgraded the head unit in my Polo 6R to the RCD510, was working fine with my iPhone 6 for the last week, however yesterday and today I have been having issues. The RCD510 connects to my touch adapter fine, which connects to my iPhone fine. However when I go to make a call it does the usual 'dialling...' and then comes up with 'dialling failed' however my phone is ringing. I tried turning off the bluetooth and then turning it back on, but as soon as my phone connects to the Voice Adapter it starts dial again and then locks up both the touch adapter and head unit (my phone isn't actually dialling a number though). I've tried resetting both the touch adapter and the phone settings on the RCD 510 to default, have also unpaired my phone from the voice adapter but the same thing happens.

Any ideas/suggestions at all? I'm stumped...

In order for track listing and steering wheel controls to work the RCD510 needs to be at least 5K0035190A.
If its a 5K0035190 it wont work. You'll need to upgrade the RCD510.

Think my Bluetooth is dead the last few weeks it will not connect to my phone at all did a scan and it's coming up with transmitter fault

Turns out I just had to delete and re-pair my phone. Works just fine now!
