    2008 Polo Match Aux input

    Hi Guys,

Trying to find a Aux input for my wife's 08 Polo Match. Now I know there are plenty of Ipod adapters out there that plug into the CD Changer input at the back of the stock CD player. What I'm after is a cheap Aux in solution without the bells and whistles. I don't want something that is going to lock my ipod while it is being used and only allow me to navigate from the head unit. I want full control over the ipod from the ipod click wheel.

has anyone used the Connects 2 CTVVGX004? It's basically just an Aux input that allows me to plug a RCA to 3.5mm lead in and plug in an iphone, ipod, or any other music player with a 3.5mm jack.

The link for it is here:

Few people have used one of those (can't confirm the model number specifically) and had good results.

Think Buller Scott did a nice dock from the card holder (mirror image of dash cup holder location). Sure he'd be happy to share his thoughts, there is a thread with some photos somewhere in the polo section.

Thanks for the info guys. That ipd dock looks pretty good.

I can't find one on ebay at the moment so I guess I'll buy one direct from that link I posted.

    Would these work?

Would either option 1 or 2 below work or would I need to buy something like option 3 with the actual adaptor?

    Option 1

    Option 2

    Option 3
