    Oil sludge removal/flush

Any comments on oil sludge removal?

I've read a few threads on PassatWorld about oil sludge removal.

A quick look around and I've found:

    Nulon : http://www.nulon.com.au/products.php...gine_Oil_Flush
    CEM : http://www.costeffective.com.au/prod03.htm
    OWS : http://www.ows.com.au/products_vitamins.html#210

    Any thoughts/comments?

I have a '99 Astra with rattling lifters to experiement on before putting it in my B5 wagon! Just wondering if there's any experience with particular products on this site?

    Thumbs up

Ok... Any engine flush will do, just add the flush to oil & drive around the block until thermo fans cut in. Have everything set up before hand so you can change the oil & filter when hot. (Be very careful HOT!) I would use a semi syn oil. Change the oil & filter every 3 months the same way until the sludge has gone.
