I left my car in today for a DSG service (oil and filter change) at 8.30 am. Went to pick up at 4pm and mechanics said they couldn't change the oil because it was still too hot from this morning. apparently is was 40 degree and needs to be under 30 degrees. surely this is nonsense? Do I have to let the car set for 24hrs to change DSG oil. he said something to do with damaging clutch packs if cool oil put into hot transmission? Advice?

It's not that critical, however dealers tend to do things by the book.
