The Speed Tec Diesel seems to improve diesel economy and cut back visible smoke. I refueled today with BP Ultimate from a bit over a 1/2 tank - 9.35L/100km.

    Better than the ECU re-flash.
It feels a little bit quicker of the marks I would say. Also can drive in 6th gear at the lower speed and feels more torque in 5th gear.
It needs to be taken to racetrack as the instruction on the bottle suggests. I have no time for that.

Just a word of caution guys,

Your diesel is the only thing that lubricates your fuel injection system. If I were you I'd be checking the lubricity (oiliness) of any product I put in my tank. Rub some on your fingers. If it is like petrol or thinners then you may be prematurely wearing out your fuel pump / injectors as it will offer very little in the way of lubrication.

Personally, I think there is no substitute for 100% good quality diesel. The only time I'd be putting anything else in my tank would be if I had algae in there.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

Any diesel smoke will show up 10 times worse when you look in the mirror at night and have someone else's headlights shining at you. What does it look like in the daytime? That's the true test.
