3.6 engine oil capacity/viscosity ?

Just wanting to know the amount of oil needed for an oil and filter change on the 3.6 Passat CC? Couldnt find it in the manual or doing a search here.I thought it was 5.5 ltrs but not sure hence this thread.
oil i am going to use is the penrite enviro+ 5w-30w,this is correct? not the GF-5.

Correct, not the GF-5.

They can take up to 6.5L.

If you can afford it, you'll get a much better price per litre buying 2x5L bottles, as opposed to 5L+2x1L.

Yeah, it's dearer now, but next time you'll only need to buy another 5L.
