All the Eos owners I know fitted it themselves without any major problems. Those that did have problems got all the help they needed from the manufacturer's website.

You can get a lot more information from the VW Eos Club Forum - just do a search for "Smart top" - note the homepage has been hacked over the weekend so do not try to access the forum through the "Go Daddy" page that comes up as it may be a malicious trojan webpage rather than the genuine webpage for this company:

Sounds great, but weird, in the other models like the Golf, if you press-hold the key the 4 windows open or close,

So this function is not enabled?,
