Thread: Eos with updated TDI 170HP motor?

    I received the updates for MY09 models and there's no mention of the 125kw TDI model being shared to the Eos or Jetta at this stage so chipping is your only option for more grunt at in these cars at the moment.

    Sorry to be picky, but we will never get a 170HP TDI in Australia. The Yanks may get it and the Europeans may get a 170PS TDI but the best we Aussies can hope for at present is a 125Kw TDI.

    Nice response.......very quick!

    VAG seems to have some strange ideas about how they spec vehicles for specific markets. Why no 125KW diesel Eos, why no V6 Eos (in Aust), why no manual Jetta TFSI? I would have thought with the Eos extra weight the 125KW diesel would be ideal.
