On the way to work, I spotted a Atacama Grey Facelift 2 Touareg, with a Tan leather interior. It had SA plates but a Volkswagen South Yarra plate holder.

As I was peering at it, it's owner raced up and asked what I was doing.

I explained, that we've ordered a TD V6, in the same shade of grey, with the chrome roof racks, but hadn't actually seen one in the flesh.

This guy said he had placed an order 6 months before the T2 was released and seemed very informed about the car. Bit like the people on these forums.

So was it someone here? I didn't think to ask.
