Called on my brother who got out in his brand new Subaru outback , with some bogdey rigging of some surfboard straps he gave me enough snatch to just get her out. There was a good smooth groove from the bashplate for 3 odd meters. It was well and truly stuck. The missus was extremely happy when I returned with an interior filled with clay based mud.Quote:

It is amazing just how bad road tyres can be on a 4wd.
We got bogged in our work hilux as it had road tyres.
The farmer who pulled us out had the same car just jacked up with muddies on and it handeled the mud with ease.
