Would have been very interested but have other plans already I'm afraid. Also not sure my Tiguan would hack it (even though I do have the off-road pack). I'll keep my eyes open for the next one organised though!

I'll be taking the Q5, so that'll be a first test of a "no low range" VAG 4WD amongst the very capable Touaregs...

Sounds like a fun get together.
Have a good time, if the weather was anything like it was on the weekend it should be beautiful!

How did you go against the Toureg beasts? Do you think I would have handled it OK in my Tiguan?

    Arctra,
I was with Moonan over the weekend and he surprised me The places that little Q5 went would have old Audi in disbelief in than a "soft" off roader could go there. He would have had the X5 drivers crying in just the car park.
Won't spoil Moonans thunder and let him tell you about it when he can.

I think if you are interested in the location go with some support vehicles, make sure it is dry and have lots of nerve.

All in all a great time was had by us all, 7 x Touaregs, 1 x Q5 and a Land Rover Discovery 3 we let come along to make him feel wanted
