Sunday was a great day - 10 Touaregs, including
    3 R5 TDIs, 2 V6 petrols, 1 V6TDI, and 4 (yes 4) V10 TDIs, including 2 R50s!!
VW were there, with a V10, thanks Vladon... Check out the ClubTouareg thread as the reports and the photos come through.

    Here's a link to few photos http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...g/July%202008/

A great day and interesting to see a V10 on its belly, not being able to forward or back.

    Cheers

Its great to see some large 4wd owners using their cars to the full, rather than just using them as urban shopping trolleys

    Keep up the good work!

Yes it was cool, thanks to everyone who came....
... and that photo was after two cars had already left - so it was even more cool earlier in the day when there were 10!

Next Sydney GTG - Southern highlands

I just posted this on TF as a response to Flipper Dogs Post about the next NSW GTG

    Hi FD

If you are heading to the Southern Highlands, then a quick detour via this place is well worth it www.yerranderie.com/welcome.htm

Or if you want to go further south , then there are tracks going inland from Nowra towards Braidwood (tijanjara fire trail for example) that should be possible(weather permitting ) Hell If I got up them in a 1.8 Freelander you should have no problems..

Still looking to organise a QLD GTG - Any takers ????
